safecast upload off the grid

found one upload, wich is a bit of the grid, it is following the Carlane, but it seems the GPS was somehow of the grid... it dosent look like a flight, and there is no street present.....

I've never seen a trace that far off for that long, the reasons are hard to decipher but the GPS system is tested regularly because of the accuracy needed for commerce and bombs. These test and other anomalies are posted and some can be attributed to those tests. Don't think this chipset supports GLONASS?

User scst2709, who made the measurement, was driving in heavy rain!

The points off track, are on 2017-08-10, from 12:09 to 12:30.

Hi,
I know this sometimes happens and without visual check on the map you cannot detect such data. I would only expect higher HDOP values in such case but here it looks like totally correct data:


... until you see it on the map... We also had some measurements shifted - e.g. walk around the lake went in some areas through the lake etc. I usually remove such parts or even do not submit whole LOG.
