Looking at the Grafana site using the link provided by my new Zen device. It's clearly in an early and rough state, but it is also unusably slow. Even for just simple time-series data (stationary readings over time) it looks like it is calling out to a Elasticsearch source, which is not going to be as efficient as a time-series system like Influx.

I don't know how much attention is being paid to this part of the system, but it could be very useful for a lot of things related to the Safecast mission. I hope it gets more attention soon.

Grafana site is currently now down. Long story.
We are working on a solution.

Currently, we run RDS (Postgres) database, with replicated RDS, map server, Grafana server and three custom gateways at AWS.
If you have a good working solution. Preferable free and open source, let us know.

Regards
Rob

Given the availability of the data on the device via local web server, has it been considered to expose current data via REST, say in Prometheus format for scraping, or to allow configuration of one or more alternate API endpoints to also send data to? It would be nice to be able to interpret the data locally.

I'd code it myself with the firmware, but my Arduino/C++ skills clearly aren't up to the task.

Feel free to use the code from GitHub, make a branch and make what you need!!
