Code for batch upload to API - help appreciated

Hi, 

I am trying to put together (with Grok) a Windows EXE for bacth upload of my LOGs to the API - you can check the latest, but not working version (uses Curl and OpenSSL) here:

(my real API key string was replaced with "MyApiKey" string in the config and debug output files.

I thought the API just needs the API key, the LOG file name and the metadata - that the "import ID" is somehow assigned automatically. Or am I missing something important?
