Greetings,

After being away for a few weeks,  I set up the monitor again today. So Device 50005 is online again.

I did have to restart the device once, since I got crazy high values the first time I started. This is the second time this has happened but a restart seems to work. You can see the high values and then restart in today's readings.

Thanks,
Catherine

HI again,

I'm having problems with Device 50005 and don't know what to do. I noticed very high readings again last night, so I tried restarting. It got stuck in the initialization phase. So I unplugged for about an hour. Then it went on, but back to the high values.  So I unplugged it overnight. But now it keeps getting stuck in the initialization phase.

It is plugged in via extension cord, but this has been the case for almost a year now, so I'm not sure what is happening.

If there are any other basic tricks to try, let me know!

Thanks,
Catherine

Greetings,

Hope everyone enjoyed a nice holiday. I tried again to hook up Device 50005 and I'm still getting very high values. I'm not sure whether Safecast is logging data for the devices in this beta group, or whether you've got some suggestions for me as to how I might repair the device. I'm also happy to send it somewhere if you want to investigate. Whatever is helpful to the Beta.

Let me know.
Catherine

You are not alone, Catherine. Last year I've had similar problems.

Cheers,

Alberto
