FLYER FOR INDIA
My daughter, Lila Salter, at the age of 17 was stalked, raped, shot
and murdered. This atrocity occurred in February 2008 in Vrindavan
India. Lila was fluent in Hindi and her faith in God gave her sense of
security. Lila was just one of many tourists and pilgrims who came to
Vrindavan to take shelter of Krsna. In these times of stressful living
and the threat of terrorism and war, people need to be able to take
solace in holy places, regardless of their religious beliefs.
Vrindavan is not just another village. Vrindavan has become
internationally famous as more people embrace Vaishnav culture and
religion. India has become famous as a great source of spirituality
which is what defines this great country from anywhere else in the
world. There are many sadhus chanting mantras and expounding
scriptures. However, this culture is fast becoming corrupted and
innocent people are finding life unbearable to live on a daily basis.
I want a safer Vrindavan for everyone....
• Please sign this petition appealing to the government of India to
declare Vrindavan as a tourist destination.
• Sign this petition to address the violent crimes and weapon issues
• Sign this petition to increase the law and order in Vrindavan.
• Sign this petition to establish a police force that will ensure the
safety and protection of all tourists and pilgrims.
Let’s create a Vrindavan that is a secure place for everyone... and
future generations...

FLYERS FOR REST OF THE WORLD
My daughter, Lila Salter, at the age of 17 was stalked, raped, shot
and murdered. This atrocity occurred in February 2008, Vrindavan,
India. In this age of stressful living and threat of war and terrorism
many take solace in a spiritual environment. All world traditions have
a sacred place i.e. Jerusalam, Mecca, Bhodgaya. Vrindavan is one such
place. Unfortunately, Vrindavan has become a place to experience
crime, corruption and lack of adequate law and order.
I want justice for Lila, who spent her life dedicated to living and
visiting holy places and nourishing her soul. I want no mother to
experience the loss and grief that I experience.
I want a safer Vrindavan for everyone.
