1. Over 203 crore 60 lakh vaccine doses administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.

2. Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has apologised to President Droupadi Murmu over his alleged objectionable remark about her. In a letter to the President.

3. PM Modi will address the inaugural session of first All India District Legal Services Authorities Meet in New Delhi today. The first-ever national-level meet of District Legal Services Authorities (DLSAs) is being organized by National Legal Services Authority. 

There are a total of 676 District Legal Services Authorities in the country. They are headed by the District Judge who acts as Chairman of the authority.

4. PM Modi  launched India’s first International Bullion Exchange (IIBE) at Gujarat International Finance Tech (GIFT) City in Gandhinagar on 28 Jul.

He also launched NSE IFSC-SGX Connect and laid the foundation stone of the headquarters of the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) at GIFT City.

5. Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will give away Agriculture Infrastructure Fund Awards in New Delhi.

6. PM Modi will participate in the Grand Finale marking the culmination of Ujjwal Bharat, Ujjwal Bhavishya - Power @2047 through video conferencing tomorrow. The programme is taking place from 25th to 30th of July, as part of the ongoing 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' to showcase the transformation in the power sector achieved in the last eight years.

7. *ANDHRA PRADESH* : CM Jagan Mohan Reddy to release Rs 508.18 cr to 3,38,792 beneficiaries of Kapu Nestham.  This is to uplift the living standards of women from the Kapu community.

9. *KERALA* : Congress Youth workers showed a black flag to Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan three times on Friday in Kochi. They also blocked the CM's convoy and demanded his resignation. The workers were protesting against the CM for his alleged connection with the Kerala gold smuggling case.

 10. *MAHARASHTRA* : 

Nihar Thackeray, nephew of Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, met Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde on Friday and extended his support to the ruling alliance.  Nihar Thackeray is the grandson of party Founder late Bal Thackeray.

11. *TELANGANA* : CM. KCR on Friday met former UP CM & Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav in New Delhi.

12. *UTTAR PRADESH* : A Mathura court will hear the maintainability of a suit in the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Masjid Idgah dispute and a petition seeking the prevention of destruction of "temple signs in the mosque" on August 8. 

The court will also hear arguments for banding together all suits related to the dispute. Earlier, the Intezamia Committee questioned the maintainability of the suit.

13. Four inmates of an Agra district jail are stitching 10,000 tricolour flags ahead of India's 76th Independence Day. NGO Satyamev Jayate is providing the raw material and also giving ₹2 per flag to the inmates.

14.   *NEW APPOINTMENT* :

 IFS officer of 1994 batch Pranay Kumar Verma has been appointed as India’s next High Commissioner to Bangladesh. He is currently serving as India’s Ambassador to Vietnam. 

15. Sandeep Arya, an IFS officer of 1994 batch has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.  He is currently posted as  Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs.

1.  *KARNATAKA* : CCTV footage of 23-year-old Fazil being stabbed to death in Karnataka's Mangaluru has been released. Tensions ensued in the area of Surathkal after Fazil's public murder, following which section 144 was clamped there. The video shows Fazil being chased and attacked outside a shop where he was standing and talking with an acquaintance.

2.  *KERALA* : Several steel bombs were recovered from a vacant property in Kerala's Kannur on Friday, police informed. The live bombs were spotted during a joint raid by local police and the city bomb squad at Vallangad under Panoor limits.

3.  *UP* : six  killed and seven others were injured in Uttar Pradesh's Banda on Friday after a car rammed into a tempo. "

4.  *WEST BENGAL* : Former Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the teacher recruitment scam. The financial probe agency has so far unearthed Rs 50 crore cash from Partha Chatterjee’s aide, Arpita Mukherjee. But the Bengal minister, who is now embroiled in a scam worth crores, had just Rs 6,300 cash in hand over 10 year back.

1.  *A massive fire broke out on the sets of Luv* Ranjan's next film, filmmaker Boney Kapoor said that there have been no casualties. He added that everyone was preparing for Saturday's shoot. 4. *MiG-21 Aircraft to Retire* : Hours after two pilots lost their lives in the IAF fighter plane crash, the Indian Air Force (IAF) decided to retire one more squadron of the MiG-21 Bison aircraft by September 30 and the entire fleet by 2025. 28Jul night, Flight Lieutenant Advitiya Bal (from Jammu) and Wing Commander M Rana (from Himachal Pradesh) were lost their life after MiG-21 Type 69 Trainer aircraft crashed in Barmer, Rajasthan.
