Fig tree planting

Honorable Board,

I have a fig tree (Brown Turkey variety) that I have been growing in a pot and it is time for it to be planted in the ground. I would like to donate it to the community so that all could enjoy the figs it will produce. I have identified a spot for it over by the lake. 

I would like to have permission to plant it there as it would be out of the way of peoples yards but still accessible to those who would enjoy the fruit.

Can I please proceed with the planting?
