Is Tabarra the reason for Shias being killed?

Salaamun Alaikum.

As we mentioned in an earlier article, that one of the reasons for forsaking Tabarra is for the sake of Muslim unity. There is another view among some followers of Ahle Bait (a.s.) that Tabarra should be abandoned as it leads to Shias being killed out of enmity.

Is this true? Is Tabarra the reason for Shias being killed?
