Hi All,
I would like to set up a sort of special purpose localwiki site. It will be for a volunteer supported garden in Sacramento. The reason I want to create a separate wiki rather than just add to SacWiki is that we want to manage the editors more and I have some ideas for special templates that will be pretty fussy for users without a little training. Sooo.....
I'm trying to set up on a G4 MacMini using Ubuntu 12.10 as a single boot installation. Trying to make it a simple as possible. Unfortunately, sudo apt-get install localwiki fails part way through with the following:
...
* (not running).
grep: character class syntax is [[:space:]], not [:space:]
* Starting Jetty servlet engine. jetty
Cannot find any VM in Java Home /usr/lib/jvm/default-java
* Jetty servlet engine started, reachable on http://adventure:8080/.
jetty
[fail]
dpkg: error processing localwiki (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit
status 1
Processing triggers for python-support ...
Errors were encountered while processing:
localwiki
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
Do you know if it will run on a PowerPC? I had an install running in a virtual machine on intel, but performance was very bad. Don't have an extra intel box to run on and the group has no money (well, I haven't asked yet) for hosing. I have static ips at my house so it seemed like an easy setup.
Thanks for any suggestions you have.
