Greetings Urban Ag Activists,

At our last meeting SSCA members finalized a comprehensive campaign plan to legalize and shed light on urban farming in Sacramento.

Join us Saturday, September 7th (TOMORROW) at the Food Literacy Fair from 9a-2p for recruitment and community outreach (located at the Midtown Farmers Market, Jst & 20th).

OUR MEETINGS ARE NOW ON MONDAYS FROM 4-5PM.
Thanks to Matt Read for offering to host the next meeting where we will discuss:

-current city efforts to draft an ordinance that will allow entrepreneurial urban agriculture at the community level
-crafting a coherent and broad-based message that conveys the goals of community groups and local urban agriculture practitioners
-maintaining momentum to develop urban agriculture in unincorporated Sacramento County
