SACTWU TO HOLD PROTEST PICKET TODAY, IN CAPE TOWN
The COSATU-affiliated Southern African Clothing & Textile Workers’ Union (SACTWU) is currently hosting its National Bargaining Conference in Cape Town.
In addition to our guest speakers for today, our Conference delegates will also hold a protest picket mid-day today, to voice their concern about new proposed labour law amendments which government has recently tabled at NEDLAC. The protest will take place outside the Southern Sun Hotel, Strand Street, Cape Town.

11h00 – 12h00: Address by Mike Shinganga, COSATU 1st Deputy President, on “Current Organisational challenges and priorities”, with the main focus on government’s new labour law amendment proposals.
