Been bench-testing HK's Orange DSM-2 RX and the I like what I see so far.
My only mod is to add a TINY drop of Silicone RTV between C20 and U1 to preclude any vibration fatiguing the leads of C20 and I've done that and it does not even show.
I ordered 4-receivers and 4-satellites. Love the single board construction, soldering quality and finally, someone has made an RX with a robust dipole antenna, the other complimentary antenna element of the dipole being the ground-plane of the PCB itself. Range testing without the satellite is awesome!
An RX with Satellite for under US$23.00 .....wow!
Will be doing some flight testing as soon as the satellites get here. In the meantime have a look at the guts:

OK, as some of you know, I've been flying my HK-600GT since November
and have been real happy with it, ripped the sky, crashed and bashed
it, repaired it and repeated the foregoing a couple of times
well .....this bird really performs and for <US$150.00, this is one
hell of a 600 bird. So much so, I'm building a second one,
flybarless.
This weekend, I will begin flight-testing the Hobby King Orange
Receiver and Orange Satellite in the HK-600GT.
Hooked-it all up this morning and it bound quickly and positively to
my JR 12X. Range tests so far prove as good as or better than, the
Spektrum AR7600 and Satellite which I had in there before. I have high
hopes for this RX system as I like the single board construction and
best of all, try an beat a 6CH RX/Satellite combo for <US$23.00

Been out flying my HK-600GT all morning with the ORNG6 Receiver and
ORNG6-STL Satellite.
Just loving it! ......no issues whatsoever :)
