In case you forgot, or were unable to attend the team meeting last Thursday here is a recap of what we talked about:
Dues/paperwork - Reminder to pay your team dues and complete your paperwork ASAP if you haven't already.
Clothing order - the kit order is here and your clothing balance is listed in a previous email. There are a few extra kits and lots of socks if you want anything extra.
Driving to races - you must be a "certified" driver. To do that you must complete a packet of paperwork and do an online course (1-2 hrs). Email me for that packet!
Team rides/gym night - Tues/Thurs afternoon ride following training plan. Tuesday evening team gym session. More info soon...
Team photo - Once we all have our kits we will be scheduling a time to take some team and individual photos to show off how good we look.
Race signups - look out for travel surveys for each race. We need the info 2+ weeks in advance to complete university paperwork. If you're at all interested say yes, you can back out later but can't decide the day before we leave that you suddenly want to come.
Get involved - we need help filling the following roles within the team:
Sport Club Council Rep - attend sport club council meetings every other week for 1 hr (at the Well)
Media person (or people) - take photos/video at races and/or write race recaps etc...
Clothing manager - manage current clothing inventory and coordinate future clothing orders.
Travel coordinator - arrange travel to race weekends by completing necessary university paperwork etc... This position is more for next year but it would be good
to see how we do it currently.
