Dear All,

Sharing following note and a press clipping which I came across for your reference:

The very need to claim that the RSS isn't Indi's Ku Klux Klan is telling in itself. And when it leans on state machinery and taxpayer money to polish its image overseas, it raises even more serious questions.
They want the world to believe the RSS is just a “cultural, service-oriented” body. But you can't whitewash decades of majoritarian politics with a few polished speeches in Washington.
The truth is simple: the RSS-BJP ecosystem thrives on exclusion while preaching “oneness.” It talks about unity, yet sidelines minorities, rewrites history, and normalises a narrow idea of India.
Under , this ideological project has moved from the margins to the mainstream—with full state backing. From lifting bans on government employees joining the RSS to amplifying its global outreach, the line between government and ideology has nearly vanished.
You can rebrand abroad, hold think-tank talks, and blame “misperceptions”—but reality isn't so easily repackaged. When dissent is crushed, diversity is seen as a threat, and critics are labelled anti-national, the world sees exactly what's going on.
No amount of PR can hide a politics rooted in division.
