It's a centralised project -- deploys bots and dedicated team(s) of professionals.
An excellent enunciation.
The CID, Karnataka -- in the wake of an FIR filed by a local level ECI official -- has taken up the investigation. In order to unveil the criminal project and bring the criminals to book.
In the process, is repeatedly writing to the ECI asking for certain technical details -- e.g. the destination IP addresses, port numbers, OTP trails, and authentication logs that are essential for forensic analysis to identify the devices, locations, and individuals behind the bulk fraudulent submissions of objections -- related to the criminal attempts to get a large number of perfectly legitimate names deleted from voters' lists.
But, the ECI has provided only partial and inadequate info.
The essential point that comes out loud and clear is that the ECI is bent upon keeping some details in its custody related to these criminals -- most likely operatives for a centralised syndicate out to subvert Indian electoral democracy.
That's why trying to obfuscate by raising, rather inconsequential, whether the subject names were actually deleted at some point or not. (That is, admittedly, somewhat hazy at the moment.)
The issue is: WHY???
