Hello, My name is Nina, and i did two paintings in your style, and my
problem is the intensity of the colour how do you make it all flow
together ?
how many coats of colour do you use, and how much watering down do you
usually do ?

Thank you
Nina K

Hi Nina,
If you don't like the harshness of the colour, If you are finding the joins
fighting each other too much and you want it to connect and flow together,
try sanding it down lightly and washing it and then wash in colour.
Watering down is conducive to the type of wood and receptivity. Each wood
is different so you have to feel the life of the wood and talk to it in the
way that you acknowledge its uniqueness, its life. It was living at one
time. It's spirit is in the way it grew, responding to and respecting its
growth and life is half the journey of the art of creating working with what
God/The Creator gives you. Relax into it. It is a process of flowing with,
responding to, and giving part of yourself into it.
I hope this helps Nina,
Good luck and I look forward 2 c u 2nite....
