Hi, I have a question for you. Where do you get the wood for your
paintings? Do you get it at a home supply store like we did, or do you
find it yourself in nature? Have you ever painted on 3 dimensional
wood straight from nature, like driftwood or a fallen log?

I'm curious because I find driftwood very beautiful. It inspires me to
paint but I've never tried to paint ON it.

Thanks!

Hi Lisa,
....and here's a plug for Home Depot. I like how they store their wood in
slots in sizes that I can pull out onto the aisle and peruse for long
periods of time until the poor construction workers come looking for some
quick piece, but I've taken up the whole aisle with wood standing against
every surface, finding. I like painting on 2D as apposed to 3D, as the
latter seems to my mind more craft oriented.
I hope that answers your questions and thank you,
LauraLee.
