Hey all,

Three individuals showed up for Critical Mass yesterday.  It was an awesome 3 1/2-hour long ride--no joke!  We departed at 6:30pm, carried a "Thank you for waiting!" sign which made us some driver friends, but we still managed to annoy some drivers, were told by a bike cop going on the sidewalk in the opposite direction to ride single file (or so we believe she said), toured the Capitol Mall rose garden on foot, and the rest stays in Vegas.

What happened to everyone?

Aw darn. Sorry I missed it. I worked the door at The Old Tavern. Sounds like a great ride though! I'm going to make a point to make it out next month.

I'm sorry I missed it, too! I'd spent the whole day helping with the
renovation at the Bike Kitchen and ended up getting a much later start
on switching out the bars and shifters on my mountain bike -- I tried
to hurry, but I wasn't done with that until 6:30.

Hi, I'm interested in joining the ride.  Is there a theme or certain
kinda bike required or is it just a ride?
Thanks! Cat

No theme and any bicycle is acceptable. You may dress up however you want. It is a leisurely ride around downtown/midtown with laid back people.

Themes could be cool!  Do you want one, Cat?  Any how, like Richard said, it's just a ride, no theme, but ideas certainly welcome!  Please do join the ride next time.  You might have a lot of fun.  If you're also interested, promoting for the ride through flyering can be fun, too, just something extra one can do outside of the ride itself.

Thank you for your response.  I look forward to joining the group on a future ride.  Does the group do any additional rides (besides the once a month Critical Mass)?

I love themes!  Cinco de Mayo theme...Mardi Gras theme...Hawaiian shirt theme just to name a few.

Theme or no theme...i just wanna ride :)

Again thank you,
CAT
