Albert J Thiel lost his battle against cancer today in Georgia. He was very influential in the Marine reef hobby in the '80s, having written books on the subject that still today are on my book shelf. His books were very influential in shaping the Marine reef hobby we now enjoy today. RIP Albert, and thank you for sharing your knowledge of the Marine reef aquarium ecosystems. It has made me a better aquarist.
