Dear Youth Ministry Parents and Young Adults,

Bob Lightfield from the Knights of columbus contacted me today asking if we have anyone who can fill in for the Tootsie Roll Drive for one (or more) of 5  2-hour shifts that suddenly need to be filled. The  Tootsie Roll Drive is  one of the KOFC's big fundraisers for local charities. I understand the proceeds go to help the developmentally disabled in our region. In fact, the KofC helps to fund one of the agencies that has provided numerous therapy programs for my autistic son, Ethan.

The job entails greeting people outside of the Bel Air Market at the corner of Stanford Ranch and Sunset in Rocklin. The volunteers hand out tootsie rolls and ask for donations of any amount. The Knights had some volunteers drop out suddenly today (flu perhaps?) and need 2 people for the 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. shift; 1 person for the 1 to 3 p.m. shift; and 2 people for the 3 to 5 p.m. shift.

The volunteers need to be over 18 or accompanied by a parent as I will not be able to chaperone all shifts. Please let me know right away if you can help.

Peace,
Kelly
