Media accreditation for the SACP 15th National Congress
The South African Communist Party (SACP) invites the media and will share the registration form with recognised broadcasters and media practitioners for accreditation to attend and cover the SACP 15th National Congress.
To be held from 13–16 July 2022, the SACP 15th National Congress will take place at the Birchwood Hotel & OR Tambo Conference Centre in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni, Gauteng Province. The Physical address for the venue is Viewpoint Street, Bartlett AH, Boksburg, 1459.
Media accreditation will take place at the venue on 12 July 2022 starting at 10h00. Only recognised broadcasters and media practitioners who have completed and emailed the accreditation form with all the identity and other requirements as per the details on the form will be accredited. After completing the accreditation form to be received, broadcasters and media practitioners should therefore complete and email it to communi...@sacp.org.za.

Organised under the theme “Together, Let’s Build a Powerful, Socialist Movement of the Workers and Poor”, the SACP 15th National Congress will discuss the 2022 draft iteration of the Party Programme titled “The South African Struggle for Socialism”. The SACP released Part 1 of the 2022 draft iteration of the SACP Programme in April. It is accessible from the SACP website using the link below.

Part 2 of the 2022 draft iteration of the SACP Programme, which is titled “Strategic Perspectives and Tasks”, will be delivered by the SACP General Secretary Dr Blade Nzimande as part of the Central Committee Political Report to the congress. The Congress will among other Central Committee reports discuss the Political Report and the State of the Organisation Report. These reports will cover the experiences of the SACP in the past five years and more on the questions of alliances and fronts.
