Dear South African Choral Society,
I warmly welcome you to participate in the Rimini International Choral Competition’s 13th edition 19-22 September 2019!
What’s new for this edition?
We are very proud of the fact that the competition has two new competitive venues situated in the beautiful city center of the Roman city of Rimini; the Atti Theater located in the 11th century Augustinian Monastery and the magnificent Theater Galli located in the heart of Rimini, Piazza Cavour. Outstanding Jury: Peter Phillips (UK), Hirvo Surva (EST), Fabio Pecci (IT), David Slater (AUS), Toh Ban Sheng (SGP).

What will stay the same?
The friendly and familiar atmosphere, the professionality of the festival staff, the expertise of the international jury, the rich programme, the chance to meet, listen to and be inspired by choirs from all over the world and, of course, the excellent Italian food and hospitality!
This is the second year that the winner of Rimini International Choral Competition will have the honor to compete in the World Choral Championship and the possibility to win the title of the best choir in the world.

What are the costs to participate?
The participation fee is 200 euros/choir and 100 euros for every additional category. You also have to book the competition package that includes accommodation through us.

Morning and Afternoon: Welcome and registration of the Choirs (The Atti Theater)
10:30: Choral Competition (Class A – Equal Voices Choirs – The Atti Theater)
15:00: Choral Competition (Class D – Folk, Gospel, Spiritual – The Atti Theater)
21:00: Second non-competitive Concert for choirs classes A and C (The Atti Theater)

17:30: Sung Service at the Rimini Cathedral
