Hi,
I have visited kodiakkarai (point calimere) numerous times, it's beautifull. But the best season to visit is between november to february. Now there won't be any migratory birds and the heat will also be enormous. You have to walk around the sanctuary if you want to take photographs. Bikes won't be allowed inside the forest, only cars will be allowed. If you walk only you have chances of taking photographs of wildlife. It'll be too bright during the day time for photography. My suggestion is to postpone this plan to coming november to february season,so that we can enjoy birds, wildlife and photography muchmore.
  Thanks

I'm in touch with Forest Warden of kodikarrai for past few months.
Though the migratory bird season is over, summer is an ideal time for Wild Life photography.
The Sanctuary has quite good wild-life population.
There is a high chances of seeing wildlife in mid-of the day & afternoons.

This trip will be ON,if there is a sufficient interest being shown.
Else this will be planned in some other time.

Thanks
Narasimhan
