SevaSamajam is a non-profit organization that runs a Home and school for destitute children. This Samajam comes under the umbrella of the Guild of Service and has been involved in this service for the last 35 years. We currently have about 120 children (boys and girls) in the Home and about 250 children in the School. All the children come from a poor socio economic background. The Lady Nye MRT-1 Special Higher Secondary School, earlier known as the SevaSamajam School provides completely free, value based education for about 250 destitute children, including students drawn from the Directorate of Social Welfare and the Directorate of Social Defence.
