Hi Peter,

Last week i went to tirumala for darsan. There i found that trek in tirumala hills (sechalam forest) is possible from mamandur to tirumala route and for some part of the trek path AP Forest department approval is required. When i enquired with the respective department, they informed to take permission.

I am planning to go to tirupati next weekend. If they provides permission, we can arrange one trek in sechalam forest. It is a very good place for trek.

Thats a good idea... But getting permission from Department is really not an easy thing because of terrorist threat to Tirumala...
Anyway good Luck Rama Mohan...

I have seen the AP tourism promotion ads in tirumala where they had mentioned about the trek route from mamandur to tirumala. The trek will be organised by AP tourism along with AP Forest department. So i hope we will get the permission for the trek.

Thats a good sign then, Please proceed further and get things done
