Fencing Meeting This Friday

Hey guys,
The charter went through and the room's been approved. Brian worked
some things out with Facilities and we have the room this Friday.
Until we find an advisor, we will only be there from 1-4pm. In
summary:
Weekly Fencing Club Meetings Starting Friday, September 23, 2011
South Gym 214
1:00-4:00pm
Since Club Day is the Thursday before, we'll probably have a lot of
newcomers. Here's a not very well thought out plan that you are free
to criticize and add to if you would like.
1. Whoever walks through the door signs in (name, email, phone number)
and signs the waiver.
2. If you don't want to teach n00bs, go fence with the new box.
3. If you feel like teaching the newbies just start with the basics
with whoever is there.
4. Hopefully by 2:00 - 2:30ish there will be a solid group of people
and we can give them a spiel about the club. Talk about dues, the wall
of information inside the cabinate, and the tournaments (for most
newbies I think we'll try to aim for Fresno tournament). Also put it
out there that we have a lot of cabinate positions open at some point.
5. Start kicking people out at 3:45.
6. Go home and spam their emails with google group invitations.

Great. You should probably change the practice schedule on the site to
reflect the new semester.

Unfortunately I'll be late to every meeting this semester. My Friday
trig class goes to 1:30
