Think of it like a magazine where you'd receive a new issue in the mail each month. If you chose to cancel that magazine delivery of course you'd get to keep all the issues you'd already received. That's true with Sunday Keys as well! You'll receive a new update to Sunday Keys each month, for as long as you keep your license active and that content will always be yours to access.
Hi, as I said although we can map F1-F8 to other keystrokes or MIDI, the original keystroke will not be suppressed so you will still get a toggle of the select track in addition to the toggle of Rec/Arm function. Maybe we can use Alt-F1 instead or some other combination that is not hardcoded in Ableton Live? I showed and example of mapping Alt-F1 to Record Arm Track one in the attached project file in the first translator.

This one can be helpful when recording live vocals or other instruments, especially if you're recording yourself. Instead of trying to move your mouse to the record button while holding your guitar, you can just simply tap F9 and get back to focusing on what you're about to play.
In a blank session the transport keys work. Mixer and mute/solo keys are lit and all the keys and encoders work properly. When I then add Komplete Kontrol to a Midi track it still works just fine, until I save and restart that session. Mixer mute and solo keys then just go dark and it won't let me return to the mixer section or use any of the transport keys.
I get some weird behaviors with the keyboard. I closed the session with mixer selected, then restarted the session with a track containing Komplete Kontrol and now the Plugin and Browser buttons are lit but the Mixer light went out, (once loaded into the session it defaulted to the Plug-In view on the small monitors) if I press the mixer button it won't switch into the usual mixer view, only the white top buttons change but the Plug-In view remains with all white keys lit up.
I tried disabling the pointed out track checkmark and as a result it at least doesn't play notes anymore. However the transport keys now just don't do anything at all. Mute and Solo lights are also still off, so is the mixer. So basically still the same behavior.
It should work with every ableton version, do you had the keyboard unplugged while installing ce? Even if o don't think that makes a difference in this situation but maybe worth a try, so uninstall CE and install with the keyboard off or unplugged.
Alright, I removed CE via add/remove programs unplugged the S88 and reinstalled the 2.7 version provided by the NI support. Then I restarted, launched CE once and tried to open a session containing a Komplete Kontrol VST. Same thing as usual, plugin and browse work, no light on Mixer, Mute or Solo and no working transport keys.
Ohh and after installing anything you should start komplete kontrol stand alone once first, then open ableton. And if you are in ableton and press mixer nothing happens? Or load two instances of the provided adg file and use instance or select a track containing the adg file via mouse should also switch the keyboard to that instance. Could it be the case, that you accidentally have learned a midi function somehow and this causes the issue?
I made sure to run Komplete Kontrol Standalone this time. If I open a clean live set without any instance of Komplete Kontrol in it, then transport works just fine and keeps working until the set is reloaded. However now that you mention the .adg, I have trouble with that. The Komplete_Kontrol_VST.adg only opens an empty instrument rack for me. It is supposed to call up the actual VST without me adding the VST3 from my Plug-In list, right?
I've been trying to find how I can map midi signal from Ableton Live to Millumin. The problem is that when I send Midi key from ableton,, it's always starts with N- (forexample ableton Live F3 key recognized as N65 on Millumin)
hey as just wondering, is the a way to key map and and have control somehow like you would with a midi controller knob? coz mine jus goes from 0, (hit the key again) to 100%.. is the a way to use the arrow keys to make them go all the way through as if u were turning a knob..if that makes sense? or should I just get an apc40 lolz thanks
Im using the computer keyboard to play notes on Ableton Live, like different synth sounds. My problem is when playing the computer keyboard as a synth, it will not sustain sound. It will play dry short notes. I cannot get the keys to sustain. Is there something wrong with my keyboard? is it a sustain on/off switch in ableton?

The built-in functions disabled during Computer MIDI Keyboard Mode include Automation Mode, Solo, DrumPad, Momentary Fade, Optimize Width, Optimize Height, Audition Take Lane, and Unfold (although Unfold is redundantly supplied by the + keys as well).
The template-mapped functions that are disabled while in Computer MIDI Keyboard Mode are F for Enable Follow Actions Globally, G for Groove, K for Capture, and L for Set Locator. If you need to enact any of these actions at the same time as using the Computer MIDI Keyboard, you could map them to one of the unmapped keys instead.

The sensor is confined to a specific area of each key so that the keys can be played straight, without triggering the sensor, if required. The first 1 cm of each key is sensor-free. Each key has a 4-cm-long sensor that is set back 1 cm from the front of the key. This enables the user to choose to play with or without sensors. A scanning rate of 250 Hz, with 8-bit resolution, is used by the sensors. The user can switch between absolute and relative finger positions. Eight onboard processors are used to query the sensors, with an additional processor used to synchronize them.
