The way to get past the "let's connect to a network" screen is to do the following:
When you have installed windows and get to the "let's connect to a network screen", and there are no options to either connect or back out or proceed:

4. If there are no internet options (which is what happened to me) you will have to manually download the required drivers. In this case I downloaded the Intel Wireless setup driver from the Nuc 13 support page, copied them on a USB stick, and inserted the USB stick in to the Nuc 13. As soon as I installed the wireless driver, internet became available, and I was able to connect to the internet, and use windows update to download and install all the other drivers.

I've had a problem for the past few weeks with Dropbox no longer successfully downloading (syncing) from the server to my Windows 10 computer; it is somehow stuck or blocked and "Downloading 34 files..." forever. These are mostly images from my Samsung Android phone using the Android Dropbox app for Camera Uploads. Please see the attached screenshots for my sync settings and the current status.

I deselected the Camera Uploads folder with Selective sync. This folder was 350 GB and had just over 100,000 files. (First I had archived its contents to a folder outside of Dropbox, then I deleted them from the Dropbox server and waited for it to complete and show an empty folder.) Now my Dropbox folder on this computer is only 160 GB and has about 130,000 files. After setting up Selective sync and hitting OK, Dropbox got stuck again, this time with "Downloading 101,300 files...". I assume it was trying to index the changes or something like that. I waited over an hour and this status and number of files did not change.

When it happens :
-It seems to get stuck randomly during the operation (doesn't get stuck on a specific %)
-I can still access the files where the operation is happening
-Windows Explorer doesn't seems to use lots of memory after it get stuck

It seems that it mostly happens on my D drive and it would be easy to think it's the problem
However, it worked perfectly fine before I upgraded on windows 10 a few days ago, so I don't understand why it would act like that all of sudden.

I haven't tried the checkdsk yet, but I suspect that you are right and the D drive is certainly damaged : when I recently upgraded to windows 10, I changed some hardwares and had to temporary remove the D drive from the computer.

Hello everyone,
From today on I've been having problems using SQL Developer. All the previous times I used it it used to open regularly, everything loading fine. Until today. I was performing tasks to run some SQL Scripts and test the database (it was reset after some time).
Every time I open the program, it is stuck on the "Restoring Windows" bar. It doesn't load any further until I restart it for the second time, with the bar still ending up stuck at the same point. At the second time, it does launch regularly, but with one drawback. All the previous files I had on previous sessions disappear with the Welcome Page remaining on my homepage for the time being (until I open all files).
Sometimes I get confused choosing which task to end in the background, caused by SQL Developer. That way I will have to investigate which window to end and keep only the main page of SQL Developer. If I try ending one task, then I will have to repeat the same process all over again, choosing which task to end.
On the second try, and with the Restoring Windows bar being stuck I can regularly open files using the Open File option.

Since I have updated Rhino, my Rhino window now sometimes get stuck minimized in the windows tool bar. If hover over the Rhino 6 icon in my tool bar and select the model I want to work on it briefly appears before then hearing the windows error (ding) and the window disappears. I can not get back into that session, the only way is to close it and open it again.

I was able to correctly get the windows 11 iso using uupbump and correctly input into VMware fusion. However, when going through the steps, I was stuck on the "let's connect to a network" page" because I am unable to see any network connections.

Weirdly, I also have a Dell running windows 10, chose not to share information, and my install stopped at 18%. Going to try your advice of agreeing to share and see what happens. That is pretty shady if that is something automatic.

Forgot to mention. I do not get an error / any feedback from ArcGIS. So unfortunalty no information here. (would really like to get a clear error message). Tool doesn't crash it just does not end. Last run is now already "stuck" for hours.

As can be seen, the layers dock has two little icons at the top-right: One with two boxes / windows and one with an X. Where I to click the first button, it would become a floating window like the one you see in the center. But once that happens how do you turn it back? There is no button nor option in the right-click menu to dock the window again nor a way to drag the tab out of its window back into the main one.

Edit: Regarding the missing menu bar, is it perhaps separate from the window at the top or bottom of the screen, MacOS-style?
There seems to be an issue open for this already, could be worth a bump: Unable to re-dock floating windows Issue #3412 mapeditor/tiled GitHub

I've just made the move from Photoshop to Affinity and have had some odd difficulties. One was just resolved thanks to this forum and a new one has popped up. I'm learning to work with raw photos and in develop persona the basic panel is stuck in the middle of the window. When I open a new file to develop that's where the panel is and cannot be moved. Any clues?

I have a user that is connecting via Axel thin client to Windows Server 2012 R2. All has been working fine until this morning. When he tries to connect to server, he got a black screen with task bar only. I can't click on "windows button" there or anything, no icons on desktop at all. When I open "Task Manager", it is completely blank - no apps/processes running...

Get the user to log out, and confirm that he is logged out on the RDG. Then rename the user's profile to .old, go through all the RDS registers and remove any stuck profiles. Get the user to log back in this will create a new profile for the user. this should resolve this issue.

I am working on a package using rstantools. It compiles perfectly fine and fast enough (1min) on linux but gets stuck on Windows (10) when linking (aborted ld.exe after 30 min). The Windows toolchain is set up correctly. I can compile the very same stan model using rstan::stan_model() directly.

Does your theme include a page header that you've hidden or disabled? I'm using a variant of the Formal White theme. With maintenacne mode enabled, above the maintenance message in the upper left corner is my site logo. In the upper right corner is the standard logged in identifier with a Login link. These are both in the page header. So if the header were hidden (as part of the theme) I'd be stuck and need to modify the theme to gain access.
