I have trying to get onto the sales maker program for the last 3-4 months. It says I'm verified but it is not applying any kind of discount. When I call in, everyone says they do not deal with the sales maker discount. All of the customer service reps have failed to give me any contact information for anyone that can help with the Sales Maker discount. Any help would be appreciated.
I call customer service and absolutely no one knew what I was talking about. By the fifth call over the month, I finally get someone in Employee Validation on May 24th. He confirms the problems with the website and says I need to mail in a paystub. I do that the next day. They still have not processed that- 11 day business days later.
I get another email saying the discount has expired!! NOW the renewal website works!! I enter my work email and run to the nearest Apple store (not the one I work at) and validate the email the system says.
Now my next bill generates and it is $65.00 higher than in the past because the discount had expired for a few hours. The next bill (July) shows $85.00 more than I've been paying the last 2 years with the Salesmaker discount.
I am now currently on the phone, on hold, to see if they can straighten this mess out. The agent I am speaking with says I'm the fourth person she's spoken to with the same issue in the past few weeks. This is a known issue.
Verizon can be sure that I'll be keeping a very close eye on my bill to make sure that not just the discount is put back, but I am credited for the higher amounts I'll be paying this month, and possibly next month.
I have had the same problem and I have been on hold with concessions who will send you into the vortex of no help abyss. No one cares and you will just get the run around I have called the concession line, which makes me call Apple, which makes me call validation center which makes me call customer care that connects me with concession line. I do not know what the fix for it. In my last 14 years every 6 months I go through this same thing.
We definitely want you to get the discounts you qualify for. Your time is valuable to us, and we are here to help as fast as possible. Please tap in the link below to learn how to register, validate and renew your employer discount. We suggest you to use Chrome as your browser. Let us know how it goes.
Uh... when the Verizon discount page actually works, it sends an email to our work address to validate. Apple employees can only access email on the company computers at an Apple store. We cannot get our email on our personal devices- phones, computers, etc.
Now, Verizon says it take two or so bill cycles for the discount to kick in. I say that's just stupid. There is NOTHING stopping the person with the access to bring up my account (and that of everyone else in this mess) and INSTANTLY apply the discount. The idea of waiting two or three months is just corporate bulls*&t. It could have been done literally the day the validation finally went through... in other words five weeks ago.
I can't help but picture that there is one 9000 year old man in a cave with a 1990 vintage computer applying the discount to each customer at a time...at a pace that would make tortoise look like an Olympic sprinter.
Hello, I am a Best Buy employee and I have been on/off the phone with reps all day, is there any way to remove the Sales Maker Discount from my account. I am trying to process an upgrade at work but our system is stating how we can't have access to my account. Because of said discount, I have reached out to Customer Care who transferred me to ECPDID, than they transferred me back to CC stating that this is all their doing, then the next agent from CC, stated that I needed to get ahold of Sales due to it being a Sales Discount. Please all I am trying to do is just remove this discount.
Not of any help here, but I am having the same issue. I have spent the better part of the last 6 days trying to get this stupid discount off my account. Former BestBuy employee, haven't been an employee for 7 months. I've talked to no less than 12 reps and keep getting the same garbage responses you're getting. I cannot wrap my head around why it is so hard to REMOVE a discount, but please keep us posted if you make any progress. This is beyond frustrating and a testament to Verizon's inept customer service
We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience this feature is non-removable for the account since you are a third party employee. You might want to check with your employer to see if anything can be done on their end. Unfortunately this is out of our scope.
Now i cant even buy a new phone or even remove this discount?!! A discount that i guess magically cant be removed from Verizon the ones that approved the discount in the first place?? Beyond this, it is to literally no ones benefit, because here i am wanting to upgrade a line and remove the discount (which would raise my bill significantly......)
The issue has not been resolved, and I am unsure really, what is happening to my account, at the moment. I went to a Verizon "corporate" store, and the manager there was able to get in touch with a, account specialist. I was told they put a request to remove the Sales Maker account, but the specialist was very confusing to converse with.
Hi,
I am completely new here and just bought Opl IoT kit which comes with 12 months subscription to create maker plan. As I followed the instruction to activate the Maker plan, there is no place I can input the discount code in the purchase summary( I changed it to the Monthly bill). Am I missing anything?
I think you are missing what this forum is about.
It is an open forum for asking questions about the Arduino. It is not any sort of official business or customer feedback or complaints department. Very few of the people regularly posting here have anything to do with the Arduino company.
Annual Passholders get a discount at a wide variety of merchandise locations. For all Disney-owned stores and most independent stores, the discount is 10% or 20%. And be aware that some stores not listed may offer a discount. It never hurts to ask!
Please note: some merchandise locations, including the China, Japan, and Morocco Pavilions at World Showcase in Epcot and most locations in Disney Springs, are not operated by Disney and thus do not offer this discount. Certain items are always excluded, such as gift certificates, videos, food items, film, film processing, and various collectibles.
For non-Disney merchandise, DVC members can get discounts at select locations in Disney Springs, Epcot and Animal Kingdom. The list of DVC member non-Disney merchandise discounts is extensive and the amount varies by location; the best way to check current discounts is on the DVC member website.
Guests are still able to view and buy their vacation photos at Disney Photo Centers throughout property, or view, share and order their photos online at MyDisneyPhotoPass.com. There is no charge for obtaining a PhotoPass or viewing or sharing your photos online. The cost of ordering prints or individual photo downloads starts at $14.95. To edit photos, or add borders or stickers, you must be able to view your photos in MyDisneyExperience.
Memory Maker is a package that includes all your PhotoPass photos, attraction photos (for attractions that have photos) and dining photo print packages for an entire trip, for $210 (or $185 if you buy in advance). You can also buy a one-day Memory Maker package that will let you download all the pictures from a single day for $75. The one-day package is not available in advance; you need to purchase it at the park, or can purchase it after you get back (but before your pictures expire).
All of the photos get connected to your MyDisneyExperience account and can be downloaded at no additional charge from MyDisneyPhotopass.com for 45 days after being taken. The downloaded photos are full-quality and suitable for reproduction. You can download the original photos and also create custom versions of your photos with frames, text annotations, characters and more. Your photos come with a copyright release that allows you to do anything you want with them other than use them for commercial purposes. You can print them out, share the prints or digital files with friends and relatives, put them on Facebook or anything else you would do with your own personal photos. Memory Maker is sold at PhotoPass viewing stations and many stores throughout Walt Disney World, or in advance (see below).
You can also purchase Memory Maker after your trip for $210 (or the one-day package for $75) and receive unlimited downloads of your photos and videos. If you wore a MagicBand during your Walt Disney World trip, attraction photos and videos will be automatically associated with your account even if you had not already purchased Memory Maker.
While you can pick up a few odds and ends (milk, juice, bread, bandaids) at the shops in any of the Disney resorts and many off-site hotels, the prices will be very high and the selection limited. Here are a few places you can go for your basic necessities that are very near Disney World and Disney Springs. In most cases you will need a rental car or a taxi to reach these stores.
In addition to the usual pharmacy items, Walgreens stores have a huge selection of general merchandise (including picnic supplies, cold drinks, cheap flip-flops, etc) at normal prices. There are two very close to the Disney Springs area:
The closest Winn-Dixie to Walt Disney World is located at 11957 S. Apopka/Vineland Road (SR 535), about 3 lights north of the intersection with Hotel Plaza Blvd and just north of the intersection with Lake Avenue, on the east side of the street.
If you are driving a rental car, you should definitely bring your own transponder (see below) or pay your tolls in cash, as rental car companies charge significant extra fees whenever you go through the SunPass lanes.
