Does vObject do any real translation between the vCard standards and JCard.

What we've seen so far is that vOject just expresses an existing vCard Objects through jsonSerialize as JSON but doesn't do any ... translation ?

Is that correct ?

Where would we go to convert ... vCard 2.1 or vCard 3.0 to jCard 4.0 ... leaving old 2.1 and 3.0 properties behind and/or translated to the cleaner format of jCard 4.0.

Evert,

We're having trouble with the photo properties not being converted from the vCard to a jCard representation.

Is there a bug and what version does it involve ?

Hi Joe,

Generally the etiquette for this type of stuff is:

1. Look if there's open tickets that match your problem. https://github.com/fruux/sabre-vobject/issues
2. If you can't find anything, open a new ticket that describes what you're doing, what you're expecting and how that expectation is not being met.

Good luck,
Evert
