RRULE FREQ HOURLY ?

Hi!
I'm trying to add an event to my cal. This event needs to repeat every
8 hours in every day and repeat it 5 days.

In google Calendar, i can't find the option to set this rule.

All caldav clients that i have used, don't let me configure this types
of events.

It is possible?

Hi!

It's only possible if you find a client that supports it :) I haven't seen it myself.
SabreDAV also doesn't deal that well with hourly rrules, and some functions will fail.

The 'recurrence rule' calculations don't take hourly, minutely and secondly into account, as they are never used by clients and it would be quite hard to do these calculations.
The effect of this is that the hourly rules will be ignored for things like the 'freebusy' report generator.
