I already got twice 0xe000004A error in short period of time (stating
it can access file), when I connect to database, there is lock on that
file from previous instance (i'm only user of that webdav). Last time
I solved the issue by saving notebooks to different place and deleted
old one. This time I would like to sort it properly, it looks like it
will cause trouble more often if the cause won't be sorted out. When I
ssh to the server the attributes of the file looks the same like the
working ones, I checked if the file is really opened by something lsof
and it's not and I have no clue from where it has that can't access
it. Troght web interface I downloaded the file and uploaded it without
any problems. I don't know where else it could be stuck when the lock
on that file is deleted already.

Now I found the issue is in table of content file which think there is
problem with that note, you can ask it for fixing it, but then I lost
most notes, and you are forced to use backup. It funny, first you have
notes which are ok, but read only, then it fixes them and you have
nothing :D. So when it get to that error it's not sabredavs fault. The
problem is why it get to that error. On one hand it's quite often
(once per week) to lose notes for almost whole day but on other hand
is quite rare to have the Charles HTTP proxy running whole week
waiting for the cursed session which leads to this troubles. I have
trial of Charles HTTP proxy, so max 30 mins of runtime for 1 instance,
so it's more worse. Have anybody idea what could happen? It's looks
like the transfer got somehow interrupted, the file was left locked
and table of content was left remark that is something wrong with one
notepad.

Hi Anton,

Two questions:

1. Which version of SabreDAV are you using?
2. Which client is throwing this error?

So I installed the 1.4.2 and first I will give a go without Charles.
It could take week or more to be more sure it won't happen again. So
it was header on parsed properly? But still awesome job, great server,
the WebDAVs are PITA and the SabreDav I think is the best one. (I
don't like MS, or apache etc...)
