There seem to be some missing.  The last Downey is L.E., meaning major leaguer Tom and at least 4 minor leaguers don't have cards.

Earlier this year, I identified 16 scan sets based on missing Mets (most likely comprised of 50 names each) that are missing from the card collection.

 

For the Mets, after Ken Dowell there are no more Mets until Sammy Drake, so I wouldn't have noticed this box missing. It looks like you've found another batch of 50 players missing (LE Downey-Leonard Downs), making it at least 17 scan sets missing in total.

Although I don't have anything really new to say about this I'll repeat that back in early February while I was in Phoenix I located the box containing several thousand cards that had not been scanned and sent them back to the LA84 library for scanning. Shortly thereafter the pandemic lockdowns began, so any chance of having interns scan the cards went out the window. Sometime during the summer the scanner was delivered to the home of the librarian in charge of their electronic holdings. The cards are in the queue for processing but naturally take a back seat to other projects. In the early autumn I was told that sometime in Jan they expected to get to the cards. Eventually we should have most of these posted. Thank you for your patience.

Thank you, Mr. Flinn, for the update on when the remaining cards may eventually get posted. Is there an update on when to expect the missing archive players (with last names beginning with Y and Z) that were in Box 49 that had something wrong with their metadata which still needed to be processed?
