ScanID: 1099018725

Chadwick ID: a9e66159

All the above is fine.

The TSN Card display name is: Pillette Herman PolvearnP

I think the "PolvearnP" should be "Polycarp".

I guess my question is where is the string "PolvearnP" stored?

The display name is the common name of the player if linked to the Baseball Reference player register, otherwise it is the name as scanned during the name-processing part of the card scanning, or the name manually typed in during the preparation process. In other words it is generated by a CASE statement in the T-SQL code during the metadata build. It's a join of the first name and last name fields shown in the Name Details field.
