RE:  Volunteers for Festival de la Isla

I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to support Festival de la Isla 2009.  It is with the help of volunteers that this year’s festival will be successful.

For those of you not familiar, I would like to explain the purpose of our yearly Festival.  Festival de la Isla is a Puerto Rican cultural & unity event which offers live music, multicultural food, and a kids play area.  This year’s event will take place on August 15, 2009 from 10:00-7:00pm.

We are looking for volunt eers to fill an array of opportunities: Parking Attendants, Vendor Assistants, Main Stage Runners, Cleaning Crew, and Tear down Crew.  Shifts are 5-8 hours long.  Volunteers may be scheduled between the hours of 7 am - 8 pm.  All volunteers will receive a guest pass and a meal & drink voucher. Volunteer requirements must be at least 16 years of age and must pass Meghan’s Law.  I hope that you will consider assisting us in any way that you can!
