Dear Jan,   Change starts with a conversation. As U.S. Jews committed to a free Palestine, we understand how important it is to unpack difficult issues together as a community, building trust, and working towards a more liberatory future for all of us.    But we know it’s not easy. That’s why we’re inviting you to a workshop on how to have hard conversations on Wednesday, August 9, from 7-8:30pm ET. Register now During the workshop, which will be led by JVP-NYC Chapter Leader Esther Farmer and JVP Spiritual and Cultural Life Manager Melissa Nussbaum Freeman (me), you’ll be welcomed into a safe space where all of us are grappling with difficult issues together.    We’ll practice engaging in conversations about Zionism, Palestine, Israeli apartheid, and other thorny topics, using modeling, role play, and other tactics — and you’ll walk away with new skills you can put to the test in your everyday life, and the confidence to know that you don’t need to know it all to engage with your community about Palestinian liberation.    We hope to see you there!    Melissa Nussbaum Freeman JVP Spiritual and Cultural Life Manager P.S.
