I need some details on the mirror issues. I need:

1. a list of mirrors with problems.

2. a simplified explanation as to how the mirror syncing issue began

3. what we are doing to rectify the issue

4. what the solution of the future is

5. Estimated timeline for the future solution (rectifying the issue should be ASAP, future solution will be projected)

I'll also look into communicating with the US mirrors who are part of the issue.

1. The list of mirrors with errors are available here:

It seems that also last node US had issues. In this case I think of disk space.

2. It seems that is began with a change of the path in hungary mirror used by others mirror (garr.it for example).

In addition, for Garr.it I speak with their and old mirrors mirror3, mirror2 and mirror1 will be soon removed. For this reason is been added a redirect to new garr.it infra sabayonlinux.mirror.garr.it.

And here, another issue. When for entropy database is returned a 304 Moved Permanently equo goes in error. I fixed this for scr repos with a temporary workaround that for database is used always garr.it node. Packages download instead is configured with multiple mirrors.

Second, currently Sabayon doesn't update mirrors list in entropy_* files from epoc time.

3. 

a)change master url of garr.it to nluug.nl node. I created a wiki page for this in open project under infra section.

b) I created a script for update users repo files (pkg app-admin/sabayon-mirrors)

c) created a mottainai task that verify every hour status of mirrors. Will be soon a dashboard more user-friendly

d) update enman-db mirrors list

e) created a main file where trace valid mirrors list and permit to add users mirrors fast

f) update docker images to updates on build mirrrors list

g) I updated mirrors list used on redirect traffic from dl.sabayon.org

4. Monitoring mirrors and add a feature to update periodically mirrros list to all users.

5. We have already a solution not integrated with equo but it works. :)

@darksurf: cz node I think that point to old path but I dunno how contact.
