Tomahawk is practically abandonware and website has expired cert. Need to switch KDE spin to use media-sound/elisa .

Lockscreen issues due to sys-libs/pam perms? I have to reinstall sys-libs/pam to fix lockscreen issues.

Kernel is still 4.14 on ISOs? Should be 4.19 with config changes suggested.

how do we feel about wireguard being installed by default?
can we get net-misc/networkmanager-wireguard in limbo?

Gnome gets some strange behavior from gedit. it seems to work fine, but upon attempt to close it silently segfaults in the background due to "error 4 in libglib-2.0.so.0.5600.4" possible recompile could fix?

ATOM doesn't work properly in KDE, Gnome, or MATE. Cannot open files, cannot create new files (Ctrl+N);

If we don't wish to replace ATOM, it will need updated with all dependencies updated and recompiled. I've requested ebuild bump to 1.34.0 upstream https://bugs.gentoo.org/677294
Replace with kde-apps/kate for KDE
Gnome has Gedit
MATE could use leafpad
ATOM evidently now requires dev-util/electron-2 (currently using 1.6) which requires libvpx-1.7.0 (currently using 1.5) . We'll need package bumps if we wish to fix ATOM. bumping libvpx also requires rebuilds of ffmpeg (needs upgraded to media-video/ffmpeg-4.1 anyway), qtwebengine, and gst-plugins-vpx.

here's a few other bumps recognized in an eix-sync

Hey can we also bump firewalld and include the "GUI" flag please? I really prefer firewalld to ufw.
