Highlights:
The Ethnobotanical Garden is situated at the State Museum and its 6
sites/locations are spread out throughout the museum vicinity. The
speaker, Mr. Boniface Tanjiwan, who is in charge of the garden will
share with the guides the general layout and some of the distinctive
or famous plants at these locations as follows:
1. The Objectives of the Garden Museum
2. On-site training on the six locations:
· Location 1 : palm, cycad, conifer and pandan collections.
· Location 2 : medicinal plants and herbs, and bamboo
· Location 3 : forest produce, deipterocarps, local edible fruits,
gingers, ritual and aromatic plants, poisonous plants and the economic
crops.
· Location 4 : orchid and fern centre
· Location 5 : permanent plant nursery
· Location 6 : the original untouched forest vegetation of the eco
museum

Dress Code (4th Schedule Regulation 10 Tourism Industry Act 1992) and
Tourist Guide License/Badge.

Man:- Similar or STGA Collared T-Shirt and Long Slack or Company
Collared T-Shirt with long slack. Shoe: similar or sneaker only. No
Sandal or Cargo pants.
Woman:- Similar or STGA Collared T-Shirt and Long Slack or Company
Collared T-Shirt with long slack. Shoe: similar or sneaker only. No
Sandal or Cargo pants.
• Participation is only confirmed after Fees have been received.
• Organizers reserve the right to disallow participation due to non-
payment of Fees.
• Participants have a duty to reconfirm the program at least three (3)
days before the Program with the Organizers.
• Cancellations will not be entertained, but replacements are
accepted.
• Organizers reserve the right to cancel, amend, postpone or
