Commercial Litigation department seeking associate candidate with 2-5 years experience appearing in New York state courts and/or in consumer finance practice. The ideal candidate should possess large law firm experience, as well as excellent academic credentials and written and oral communication skills. Position involves representing banks, mortgage lenders and servicers. New York admission is required.

Technology Associate needed for our Technology, Telecommunications and Outsourcing Practice Group (Corporate Department). The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of large law firm experience in the area of technology and IP licensing arrangements, transfer of technology and intellectual property, and outsourcing contracts, as well as New Jersey, New York or Connecticut Bar admission. Said candidate will provide support to this group in the areas of computer science, media and communications, antitrust, the sciences and engineering for large and small businesses in a variety of industries.
Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Associate is needed for our Labor and Employment Department. The ideal candidate should possess 2-4 years of experience in the design and administration of qualified and non-qualified retirement and other ERISA-covered plans, including 403(b) plans, health and welfare plans, and executive compensation arrangements. Knowledge of the Affordable Care Act is helpful. Said candidate should possess excellent academic credentials, along with excellent written and oral communication skills. Hello,
I'm the Director of Pro Bono at Northeast New Jersey Legal Services and
I'm writing to you with a great need for pro bono assistance for a
domestic violence victim. If you do not handle dv matters, please feel
free to let me know and/or complete the simple one page pro bono
registration form attached. This will help us to know what type of
cases to refer to you in the future.
The dv matter needing pro bono assistance is below:
A mother of two children (5 and 9 years old) came in to our office
looking for legal assistance due to her ex-boyfriend stalking,
harassing, and threatening to kill her and her family. Complaint is
attached to this email. She has a court date on 12/19 at 11 am in
Hudson County in front of Judge Baber for an FRO. Unfortunately, we do
not have an attorney available to help her at that time and she's
already had an adjournment. She could greatly benefit from having an
attorney as the defendant has legal counsel. She speaks Spanish
primarily, but understands and speaks English. She would need an
interpreter in court, but states she wouldn't need one to meet with an
attorney.
Would you be able to help this woman? If not, do you know of anyone who
can?
