Dear Osteopaths,
On Monday, August 7th from 5-7pm Touro's SAAO presents our annual "Evening with the Stars" to get incoming first year students excited about OMM, and we are hoping that you will be one of our stars!
We hope to have incoming students who have never been treated attend so they can understand early on the power of osteopathy. The SAAO board remembers this event very fondly and think it set the tone for the year. We really hope you can make it! Please respond by July 28th to let us know your availability. You can contact Dr. Nuño with any questions and with your RSVP.
The event is modeled after the "Evening with the Stars" at the AAO Convocation and will be located in our campus OMM lab (building 1, closest to Railroad Avenue
http://facilities.tu.edu/campusmap/). Time and location have been selected in order to maximize Touro student attendance.n the past, we have had 100-130 students at the event. Not all are first year D.O. students, but all are interested in OMM.
We understand that many of you see patients and/or may have to travel a great distance battling traffic and it may not be feasible for you to attend in person. Hopefully some of you can, even for part of it, those who have come in the past have found it truly rewarding. If you do plan to attend, please print and display the attached temporary parking sign on your dashboard.
Thank you very much for your support!
Sincerely,
SAAO Board
