Dear VGSoMites,

Diwali, the festival of light remarks the victorious homecoming of Shri Rama from Lanka. In the present times, we remember it as extravagant display of colourful fireworks which illuminate the dark night sky, for sweets and new dresses. It is also commemorated as a day when people worship goddess Lakshmi, the deity of wealth and prosperity.

Saamanjasya, with its pledge of giving back to the society, continues the legacy forward by celebrating Diwali with the tiny stars of Disha Seema School within IIT Campus.

We invite you all to be a part of this celebration for a cause.

Let us together fill happiness in their lives by lighting candles and bursting crackers with them and make this special Diwali a day to rejoice and remember.
