FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Saab Owners Rally to Save their Beloved Car Company
Washington, DC (January 22, 2010) - Loyal Saab owners and enthusiasts, in over 40 cities around the world, gathered in support of Saab Automobile last weekend. These events attracted an estimated 5,000 vehicles and over 10,000 people. The Save Saab campaign continues this weekend with events taking place in Europe, Asia, and The Americas. The goals of the campaign are to rally support for the iconic Saab brand, and to ensure that General Motors sells Saab Automobile to a viable bidder this month, saving thousands of jobs around the World and in the United States.
The National Capital Area Saab Support Convoy is taking place this Sunday, January 24, 2010, with participants staging near International Motors, Ltd in Falls Church, Virginia, at 11:30 AM EST. For more information about this event and others world-wide, visit
