Hello Convoy,

While I shared pictures with family, friends, and neighbors last night, we marveled at how quickly and enthusiastically everyone came together for Sunday's event. I am absolutely humbled by the turnout and truly felt connected to something bigger for a few hours. I'm afraid my 15 minutes of fame are up now, but I couldn't have imagined a better way to spend that time.

A co-worker, who is far more spiritual than me, shared one of his favorite quotes with me this morning. It's from "Our Deepest Fear" by Marianne Williamson, and I paraphrase below:

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually who are we not to be? Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

As we wait to hear word about the future of Saab, I'm convinced our convoy will make the difference. Thank you all for shining some light Sunday.

This will be my last message about the convoy, but know that I am committed to the Saab brand and our community. I plan to get involved with the Washington, D.C. Area Saab Owner's Club (WASSAAB), and you'll find me in the forums over at SaabLink.net and on Facebook.com. For now I'll leave you with some links to photos and media coverage.

Until next time...
