Anne Philippe released ArchaeoPhases 1.5 recently and it includes
a facility to aid reproducibility that might interest you and the
OSIG crowd.  I just finished a blog post about it:

Also, I took the advice you offered at the SAA meeting in
Vancouver and am using read_csv() in the package now.
