been thinking about public transport lately (traffic these days -
enough said)
so I went looking for some info and came across this...

http://www.capemetrorail.co.za/

I can't remember the last time I had such a fun time exploring a site!
It's so ugly and cute, how can someone not feel sorry for it. Its got
gusto - like the little locomotive who knew he could.

look at the little arrow string at the bottom that explains the
journey to you, which I think is a very cool idea BTW.
be sure to click through and see how the banner with the nav cuts off.
how nifty is that outlook webmail feature!
the odd footer makes me think they exported the whole site from
MSword.

It's like playing a game to see what's behind the next click :)
They lost a potential client - but they sure did give me a good
experience and I left with a smile.

odd to compare it to the parent company - http://www.prasa.com/ (the
link is first in line)

I'm going to leave this one open to some other opinions...

Sjo!
The shocking part is probably going to be how much the web designers
got paid to do this.

At first I thought "What is the fly doing on the screen" as the
circling arrow around the "send us feedback" distracted me.
No wait. I have better things to do than wonder why Metrorail and
Idols appear on the same site.

How else would they get to auditions? Of course...

;)
