GOLDEN PIPIT – these things seem to be dripping off the trees in the Lowveld at the moment…!!! A single bird has been found this morning on the H1-8 road (main tar road between Punda Maria and Pafuri) in the Kruger National Park just north of the turn-off to the S59 road, near the power lines. I don’t have an exact location for it, and signal is very bad up there, so I can’t seem to get it at the moment either – reported by Yolande van der Merwe.

WHITE WAGTAIL - a single bird has just been found and photographed in the Mahango section of Bwabwata National Park (Namibia) at -18.173, 21.705. This is only the 3rd record for Southern Africa and the first for Namibia – reported by Errol de Beer.

HUDSONIAN GODWIT – a single bird was reported on the Seekoei River estuary between Paradise Beach and Aston Bay (Eastern Cape) yesterday and was seen again and photographed there this morning at this pin - https://maps.app.goo.gl/phNyGnX8qrJxAssS9.
