HOMECOMING "007" BRINGS TOGETHER CAMPUS COMMUNITY

Binghamton, NY, 10/1/2007 – Starting this week, the Student Association will be hosting Binghamton's second annual Campus Wars in conjunction with Homecoming 2007. With the homecoming theme this year being "Homecoming 007: From Binghamton With Love", students can expect James Bond nostalgia from a variety of facets, including video games, pageants, float parades, and sporting events.

"We are very excited to be holding the second annual Campus Wars with our perennial homecoming. The Student Association has been working very hard to get our campus more involved with school spirit, and by doing so, we are giving everything this year a new twist. 'Homecoming 007' will absolutely be one to remember," said Sandi Dube, Vice President for Programming.

The festivities will begin 7:00 p.m. Monday night with a Nintendo 64 Goldeneye tournament, and close with a performance by the up and coming award-winning band Gym Class Heroes at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday evening.

A full list of this week's events can be found at http://sa.binghamton.edu/homecoming.

Homecoming is sponsored by the Student Association, Alumni Association, and the office of Campus Life. For more information, contact getin...@sa.binghamton.edu or call the SA office at 607-777-7777.
