With the academic year beginning to wind down, the Student Association is preparing for the upcoming Fall semester.
As in the past, student groups wishing to be active for the 2008-2009 academic year must register with the Student Association before the end of the current academic year.
For the past two years, we have worked to move that registration process to an online system and finally, we are proud to announce that the completed iteration of that system is ready for you to access, and will be used for this group registration period.
PAWS can be accessed by visiting
HTTP://PAWS.BINGHAMTON.EDU.Please note that for this year's registration we are requiring that the newly elected President of the organization complete the registration form! This person will automatically be identified as the group's primary contact. SA by-laws require that all executive boards are elected before May 1st.
Before you begin registration, please have ready the following information:- Your organization's Account #
- Your Constitution in a digital format (.rtf, .doc, and .pdf file types are accepted)
- Your roster (names and emails) - you must submit at least 10 people to be approved
- Your officer list
To log-in to PAWS at
http://paws.binghamton.edu click on
Login and use your existing
PODS username and password to create your PAWS account. Once your account is established and you have logged into the system, click on
Organization Registration for 2008-2009.
Please read carefully and answer all questions. Once you have completed your registration you must submit for approval. The office of the Executive Vice President will review your registration and you will receive an e-mail notification that it has been either:
- Approved
- Rejected (with a reason)
- Resubmit requested (additional information needed)
