Hi all,

This email is in regards to the national Seeding task team. Last weeks general email from our chair inviting people to join is below from Dale. 

He informs me that there are no female representatives or nominations for this task team. We will be engaging with Provincial reps to attempt to get some nominated, but we are hoping this list will engage a greater audience to get nominations or you can nominate yourself.

Please fill in the form of interest within the next 3 days if you are interested or forward this to women that you think would be interested. 

If you have any further questions, please ask.

Dear Ultimate Community,

 

We are pleased to announce that SAFDA is establishing a Seeding Task Team. 

 

Purpose and objectives of Seeding Task Team

The purpose of the Task Team is to:

·  Ensure SAFDA uses a consistent, transparent and fair system to establish seeding at tournaments.

·  Ensure SAFDA's seeding system is in line with global best practice.

·  Ensure SAFDA's seeding system meets the needs of our community.

·  Establish clear tournament structure guidelines for SAFDA-sanctioned national tournaments (Mixed Nationals, Open & Women's Nationals, and Rocktober).

Time frames/commitment:

The Task Team will be working in January and February 2017, to have a system in place by end of February 2017. Work will primarily be conducted over email with 2-3 Skype meetings.

 

Call for applications

We are seeking people to serve on this Task Team. To apply, please email safda.chair@gmail.com by Monday 12 December. Please include:

·  Your name and contact details

·  A brief history of your ultimate involvement/experience

·  A brief motivation as to why you would like to serve on the committee
